This is my preferred place to buy knitting yarn and sewing accessories (haberdashery) in Lancaster. The shop is an Aladdin's cave of buttons, ribbons, trimmings, fastening... anything you need in that line and generally inexpensive. Currently closed Thursday & Sunday only

A great shop for a range of haberdashery. I went specifically for buttons and there are loads! A big range of colours, shapes and sizes. The lady who works there was very helpful and made suggestions that would work with my fabric. I bought some buttons. Highly recommended.

I've been shopping at Hester's since they were in the Lancaster indoor market. Lovely place, always full of exciting fabric craft ideas, felts, dyes, beads and countless buttons. The whole family love visiting Hester's on a trip into town.
